“Ask – it will be given” “Seek – you will find” “Knock – it will be opened”. I wonder how many times I read this verse and think about my own gain. What if I asked, sought, and knocked for someone else – that it would be given them, that they would find, that it would be opened for them. Why do I not think about the other person first with the intent of their needs above myself. Certainly I am not anxious, worried or concerned every day. Slow down enough to see the needs of those around us above self and then Ask, Seek, and Knock for their benefit.
Matthew 7:7
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.
Isaiah 55:6
“Seek the Lord while he may be found;
call upon him while he is near;
let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts
2 Chronicles 15:1
The Lord is with you while you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord
