John 17:16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. Psalms 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple; the precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes; the fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; the rules of the LORD are true, and righteous altogether.
The knowledge of truth is found in His word. Understanding of who God is found in His word. His precepts are found in His word. Enlightenment is found in His word. Purity is found in His word. His promises are found in His word. Testimonies of Him are found in His word. Redemption story and salvation are proclaimed in His word. Sin is exposed through His word. Hope, peace, joy, love, faith, grace and mercy are in His word. We hear His whispers of guidance through His word. Apart from His word we are influenced by the culture we live in and have have no grounding or firm foundation with which to live out His word. Our life this side of eternity has purpose. We find purpose and a soul deep fulfilling life when His word is active in our life. Commit to humbly serving, honoring, following and obeying Him. Stay in His and keep focus on eternity. Do not neglect or become complacent in reading, meditating, and seeking to know more and more understanding of God’s holiness and how to live to honor and glorify Him. Seek to live out His word in honor and glory to Jesus Christ. Love Him with your whole heart, mind and soul. Serve Him with humbleness. Be willing to be used by Him each day.
