Choice is something we have. It is an act within our heart and mind that turns into action. Seeking God for forgiveness, salvation, healing, strength, rest, peace, love, doing His purpose and plan, serving Him, and willing to be led by Him are humble life changing choices that will bless our soul.

On the other hand seeking self interest, wants, desires, putting ourselves before all others, and denying God’s call in our lives to humble serve, honor, worship, praise, follow and obey Him is a choice that will curse our soul.

We make choice each day on how we will act, what we will say, how we will react, what we expose our eyes to, and what we listen to. Staying close to God, seeking Him, humbly serving Him, listening to Him, and obeying Him will certainly guide the previous choices and how we face each day. One path seeks only what is right in our own eyes and the other seeks what is right in God’s eyes.

Blameless walk

“he stores up sound wisdom for the upright; he is a shield to those who walk in integrity, guarding the paths of justice and watching over the way of his saints.”

“He who walks blamelessly and does what is right and speaks truth in his heart; “

How would you define what God expects from our life walk with Him? Now then, how does your life mirror that definition? If we stay in His word we will find that our definition is continuing to evolve. Remember “precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little, there a little” this is how we will grow. Time spent in His word will always lead us to a better understanding of Him which in turns opens our heart and mind to how we should live. The more we read, study, understand, and apply the more we will see room for us to grow in our love, praise, worship, hope, peace, joy……
